About Chris

As a senior adviser to, and confidant of, business leaders for many years Chris brings an easy manner and natural curiosity to his work.

Chris has long experience as an adviser on corporate transactions and Board decision making and spent 8 years as Senior Partner at Slaughter and May, an executive chair position. During his term as Senior Partner, he worked with colleagues to help the firm navigate the global financial crisis and sought to bring focus, accessibility and energy to the role.

Building on this advisory and management background, Chris established CSA in 2016. The business has evolved over the years since and now offers the range of advisory services outlined under ‘What we do’.

He is also a Deputy-Chair at The Takeover Panel, a Trustee at The Leverhulme Trust, a Board member at ICC UK, a member of the mentoring panel at J&A Mentoring and an alternate arbitrator for disputes between the FIA and Formula 1 drivers.

Chris’s style is collegiate yet inquisitive. He has a restless interest in music, cars, travel and current affairs. He publishes regular thought pieces which can be accessed under Essays.
